- (6/11/1673 Paris-5/8/1733 Amsterdam) (France / Netherlands); aka PicardEngraver, mezzotinit artist, woodblock engraver, miniaturist, painter, and book illustrator. Pupil of his father Etienne, as well as Benjamin Audran and Sebastien Leclerc. Considered one of the most important of the French influenced Dutch engravers in the latter 18th century.
